Something I pondered this morning: Has it been considered to have some kind of automatic DL function/option that would extract .nfo and .nzb files (only) from sets and DL them without user interaction? Much like preview works, only automatic?
nfos could be used both for set auto-updating (optional), like it does for preview now, and for regular .nfo browsing (like now, for previewed files)
with .nzb files I refer to actual .nzb files posted to Usenet, not generated by urd. These could just be dumped in a dir (like now, with preview) or used as "alternative" sets, perhaps like I imagine rss feeds work in urd (never tried that yet). If these can be connected to the related .nfo, even better (if there is a .nzb posted, chances are high there is also an .nfo)
I guess what I'm describing is basically automatic preview, now that I read what I just wrote.. This could also be used for samples for the brave..
Also, it would be very neat to be able to reach a preview nfo file (in a popup would be amazing) from sets direcly, if it has been downloaded. They are already connected to a set partly since they are parsed when DLed (I realize this a one shot operation though) so I guess this would't be extremely far fetched?
Whistles and bells are always fun, even if core work may be more important for certain aspects
